Terms of Service

1. This agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and PayBridge Inc., a corporation registered in Delaware, United States(“we”, “us”). They cover your use of the FitBound mobile app and this website.

By creating an account or using FitBound, you accept these terms. If you don’t accept them, don’t use the app.

2. Who can use it

Anyone can use FitBound. If you are under 18, check with a parent or guardian before starting a paid subscription.

3. What FitBound does

FitBound lets you set the days and times you plan to train, sets alarms for them, and asks you to confirm you went by taking a photo at the gym. That photo is checked automatically, and your day is recorded as done or missed. You can connect with friends who can see whether you’re keeping to your schedule. The app can also build you a training plan and keep a record of the weights you lift.

4. Your account

You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details private. Give us accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current. Tell us at support@fitbound.app if you think someone else has got into your account.

One account per person. Don’t share it or sell it.

5. Trial, subscriptions and billing

FitBound offers a 7-day free trial. After the trial, continuing to use the app requires a paid subscription, available monthly or yearly.

• Prices vary by country and are shown in the app, in your local currency, before you are charged.
• Payment is handled by Apple or Google, not by us, under their terms. We never see or store your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
• If you don’t cancel your trial before it ends, it becomes a paid subscription automatically.

Cancelling

Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. We can’t cancel a store subscription for you, and emailing us or deleting your account will not stop the billing — only the store can. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, so please request one through the store you bought from. Where the law where you live gives you a right to a refund or to cancel, that right applies regardless of this section.

6. Using it properly

When using FitBound, don’t:

• Submit photos that misrepresent where you are, or otherwise try to fake proof of a workout. The app only works if the record is honest.
• Use the friends feature to harass, intimidate, or repeatedly contact someone who doesn’t want it.
• Upload anything illegal, abusive, or that shows another person without their agreement.
• Try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or get unauthorised access to the app or our servers.
• Use another person’s account, or impersonate anyone.

7. Photos and content you provide

What you upload stays yours. You give us permission to use it only to run the service — checking a proof photo, showing your profile photo to friends, and keeping your records.

Proof photos are not stored. Profile photos are stored in a public location and can be viewed by anyone with the direct link. Both are explained in the Privacy Policy.

8. Health disclaimer

FitBound is not a professional health, medical, or nutrition advisor. Nothing in the app — including any projection, target, or suggestion it generates — is medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a doctor or a qualified trainer.

Talk to a healthcare professional before starting or changing an exercise routine, particularly if you have a medical condition, are injured, are pregnant, or are taking medication. You exercise at your own risk. Never travel to a gym or take a photo in a way that puts you in danger, and never do so while driving. An alarm from this app is never a reason to do something unsafe.

9. Alarms are not guaranteed

The alarm is the core of FitBound, so be clear about what we can promise: we cannot guarantee that any alarm or notification will be delivered, on time or at all. Alarms are handled by your phone’s operating system and are affected by things outside our control — settings, battery saving, notification permissions, software updates, storage, and whether the device is on.

Alarms also behave differently by platform. On Android, the alarm screen stays until you verify. On iPhone, Apple requires every alarm to have a Stop button, so the alarm can always be stopped — it returns periodically instead. iOS 26 or later is required.

FitBound is a motivational tool, not a safety-critical alarm. Don’t rely on it for anything where a missed alert would cause harm — medication, medical appointments, childcare, or travel.

10. Automatic photo checks can be wrong

Proof photos are checked by an automated AI system. Like any such system, it makes mistakes: it may reject a genuine photo of you at the gym, or accept one it shouldn’t. We don’t promise it will be accurate, and a rejected photo is not a judgement about you.

If a valid photo keeps getting rejected, email support@fitbound.app and we’ll look into it.

11. Workout plans are generated, not prescribed

If you ask FitBound to build you a training plan, that plan is generated by an automated AI system from the answers you give it. It is general fitness content. It is not medical advice, physiotherapy, or a prescription, and nobody qualified has reviewed it for you personally.

The app invites you to describe injuries or limitations so the plan can try to work around them. Treat that as a preference you are giving a piece of software, not as a clinical assessment: an automated system can misjudge what is safe for you, and it does not know your medical history. If you have an injury, a health condition, or are returning to training after either, talk to a doctor or a qualified professional before following a plan.

You decide what you actually lift. Stop if something hurts, and don’t attempt a weight or movement you aren’t confident performing safely, whatever the plan says.

12. Availability and changes

We aim to keep FitBound running but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we’ll give reasonable notice in the app and stop charging subscriptions.

13. Ending this agreement

You can stop using FitBound at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@fitbound.app. Remember to cancel your subscription separately through your app store.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Unless the breach makes it inappropriate, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

14. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent the law allows, FitBound is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Some places don’t allow these exclusions. If that’s where you live, this section applies only as far as the law permits, and your legal rights as a consumer are unaffected.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, PayBridge Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of FitBound. This includes anything resulting from a missed or undelivered alarm, or from an incorrect automatic photo check.

Our total liability to you for any claim relating to FitBound is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty US dollars, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we agree to that jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in the country where you live, and it does not remove your right to bring proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.

17. Apple and Google

These terms are between you and PayBridge Inc. only. Apple and Google are not parties to them and are not responsible for FitBound or for supporting it. They are, however, entitled to enforce these terms against you as third-party beneficiaries. Your use of the app must also follow the rules of the store you downloaded it from.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use FitBound after that means you accept the updated terms.

19. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing something straight away doesn’t mean we’ve given up the right to. You may not transfer this agreement; we may transfer it to a company that takes over our business.

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about FitBound.
